Just downloaded Diamond 3 and am running it under Leopard. The only problem I have (which is a great thing to be able to say about a software package that works as nicely as this one does) is that when I resize a document window, either before or after typing, it does not re-flow the text to fit the page. So I'm left with documents where the text stretches off into the right window margin and falls off the face of the earth until I resize them again to fit.
This happens no matter whether or not I type and then resize or resize and then type. Anyone else experiencing this?
I think what is happening is you are expecting the column width to resize to match the window automatically, and that isn't happening. And it shouldn't happen, for those cases where you want to resize the window to show more than one column. So I've gone with the feature of setting the column width manually in Prefs, and then sizing the window to match the column.
This is easier if when you set a new column size you use the "Clone Contents" command to see the effect on new windows quickly.
For the future I'm working on resizing columns when you resize the window an option, for those who always want a one column view and need the easy of resizing automatically.
